No Jobs keynote; Apple's last Macworld Expo appearance
In a shock move, Apple has announced that Steve Jobs, its CEO, will not give his traditional keynote address at Macworld Expo 2009. It has also announced that it will not be exhibiting at the event in future.

Apple has released its 3G iPhone, which sports a new glossy black or white plastic back, much faster 3G internet, GPS and the long-awaited new iPhone 2.0 software. While Apple had a few well publicised difficulties coping with the launch demand, all is now well. Also available for owners of original iPhones and iPod Touch owners [iPod Touch upgrade costs £5.99], software version 2.0 introduces refined versions of many of the existing apps, support for push email via MobileMe (formerly .Mac) and Microsoft Exchange servers, among many others. The most eagerly awaited, however is the App Store.
