Safari 3.2 released; gains anti-phishing protection

Apple has updated its web browser, Safari, to version 3.2.

Aside from the regular security fixes, Safari 3.2 also features anti-phishing support. Phishing scams attempt to steal credit card and personal information by impersonating the likes of PayPal and online banking sites via e-mail or other methods. Several browsers, Safari now included, check websites against a list of known phishing sites to protect users against this form of crime.
